Coffee Group
On Wednesday mornings, all parents are invited to join our weekly coffee group. This is a great time to get to know other parents, caregivers and teachers. We share good coffee and often home baking. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to share tips from the school years journey, swap ideas and hear from teachers about things happening in the school. The Coffee Group meets in Matai 5.
Multi-Cultural Group (Kaye)
We are incredibly blessed by the many cultures represented at ACS. The Multi-cultural Group is for everyone, Kiwi’s, immigrants and internationals alike. It’s a valuable time of connection for mums, dads and caregivers and often the laugher ripples past the walls of the room it’s being held in. It is a very warm, inviting and inclusive group. Want to meet new people and feel part of what’s happening at the school? We highly recommend you attend MCG.
Parent Involvement
We have a strong culture of and encourage parent involvement throughout the school and welcome your participation. Parents are able to get involved with the school and their child’s learning in a number of ways such as in the classroom, school trips, sport coaching, transport, swimming parent help, School Fair, prayer group, Board of Trustees, Parent Association (PAAC’s) and many more opportunities throughout the year.
