Aidanfield Christian School is located in peaceful village Aidanfield, with surrounding natural environments. There are devoted teachers who have a great smile, professional and show fruits of the spirit as well. It is an important thing for me to choose the school where students who like to help a new student believe in God. Eunchae has gained not only academic knowledge but also improved confidence in speaking English and hanging out with her friends. I’m happy to speak that she won a literary prize in 2018, although she attended the school for only 3 terms. I believe that the school not only encouraged her to have confidence but also to catch up with her peers.
If you decide to live in New Zealand or to send your children to study in New Zealand, I strongly recommend that ACS is the best school. Your children can learn how to swim at Starfish Swim School located beside ACS and can enjoy the school’s beautiful environments and modern facilities. I believe that the international student team will help not only your child to settle down into the school but also your family to settle down into the local community.

My name is Erin, migrated from South Korea. I would like to introduce a school, which our beloved daughter attends.
Her name is Arianna Park, and she is an 8-year old girl. She is in a year-4 classroom at Aidanfield Christian School (ACS). ACS is located in a peaceful and beautiful suburb of Christchurch city. ACS is relatively a small school, however it gives you comfortable and safe feelings.
I feel comfortable, believing that Arianna is spending most of her learning time in a safe environment. It is a place where young learners feel at home. ACS provides education to students not only academically, but also Biblically.
I believe that Arianna will succeed and thrive with confidence and compassion under a strong understanding of Biblical values. My 4 year-old son will soon join his sister and follow the Lord’s paths. I am so looking forward to having him join ACS.

Aidanfield Christian School has something different and very special especially from my point of view as a Korean Mum who was brought up in Korea. To begin with the attributes of the school, it is located in a nice, safe and quiet neighbourhood surround by beautiful nature which I love!
What happens in this beautiful school is even better! It is very unusual to me who attended Korean schools in Korea, but a pleasant surprise and impressive thing I observe regularly at Aidanfield Christian School is the school Principal visiting each classroom at the beginning of the day and the end of the day and interacting with teachers, students and parents. It has been three years and it is still happening whether it is a rainy or sunny day. The teachers are also very approachable and always open to discuss their students’ development.
Three years ago, before my boy started his schooling at Aidanfield Christian School, I was very concerned how my 5 year old son would settle in a school environment. However, my concerns were a waste of time! Thanks to his first classroom teacher and other teachers who worked together as a team at Aidanfield school, my boy did not have a single drop of tears and was very happy to be at school from Day 1 of his schooling. He made a seamless transition from his preschool to the primary school as well as a positive start for schooling for his life!
As year 3 student, he is now becoming a more confident, caring and responsible person. I believed this is because not only the great teachers and staff at the school but also how the school has built a great school community. The teachers at the school actually role model the values and attitudes they want their students to learn in their life not just teach or lecture them what and how to do.
The school works extremely well with its community to ensure the spiritual, academic, physical, social or emotional wellbeing needs of their students as well as their teachers and the staff are satisfied. As a Korean parent, I always feel welcome at the school and am also invited to school events which allow me to be involved in the school community.
I am very excited seeing our child growing and maturing in every aspect as a person every day at Aidanfield Christian School. I am also looking forward to continuing to be part of learning journey of our child with Aidanfield Christian School. For our second son, who will start school next year, there is no second thought. Our first choice for his school will be also Aidanfield Christian School as the school is a loving, caring, and happy school where teaching and learning happens with respect and professionalism.

Student’s Voice 학생들의 생각
When I first came to Aidanfield, it was interesting because it was quite different from Korean schools. The differences were the buildings, teachers and students. Everything was different. What I found was very different was there’s not much exams and tests but instead of that, I think school makes students more creative. They talk about their thoughts, rather than just taking exams. And in class it’s more relaxed and students feel comfortable in class.
Actually English improves when you meet a friend and I have learnt English by talking to friends at Aidanfield. Teachers are very kind and supportive, and if you ask for help they are really helpful. You can ask your teacher lots of questions. Because the school is small, it feels like a family and everyone is very kind.

처음 에이던필드에 왔을 때, 한국의 학교와는 굉장히 달라서 흥미로웠습니다. 학교 건물, 선생님, 그리고 학생들까지도 모두 달랐기 때문입니다. 한국 학교와 가장 달랐던 점은 시험 대신 학생들의 창의력을 기를 수 있도록 도와주는 것이었습니다. 자유로운 분위기에서 자신의 생각을 표현하는 법을 배우는 것 등도 특이했고 가장 좋은 부분이었습니다.
사실 영어는 수업에서보다는 친구들과 대화할 때에 가장 발전합니다. 저도 그렇고, 많은 해외에서 온 학생들이 친구들과의 교류를 통해 영어를 배웁니다. 그리고 에이던필드 학생들은 굉장히 친절하기 때문에 영어를 배우기에 최적화된 환경이라고 말할 수 있습니다. 선생님들도 매우 친절하고 도움을 많이 주기 때문에 작은 것이라도 모르는 것이 있을 때는 선생님들께 물어보면 큰 도움을 받을 수 있을 것입니다. 선생님에게 질문을 많이 하더라도 다 받아주실 테니 부담없이 질문할 수 있다는 것이 뉴질랜드 학교의 가장 큰 장점입니다. 에이던필드는 작은 학교라서 학생들끼리 가족 같음을 느끼고, 그러므로 외부에서 온 학생들도 친절하게 챙겨줄 것입니다. 마지막으로, 에이던필드로 온다면 학교 사람들의 따뜻함과 친절함을 가장 처음으로 느낄 수 있을 것입니다.

It is been more than two years since Bingyan started his year 5 at Aidanfield Christian School, we are satisfied with the school. Bingyan is happy with his class and he feels be loved and cared for at school.
We appreciate that the school has provided all the support, especially during the lockdown.
The communication between the school and us are good, we are always well informed of Bingyan’s progress and problems. We also had parent-teacher meetings, and are invited to give opinions and suggestions regarding the learning situation during the lockdown.
