Greetings Aidanfield whanau.

We are looking forward to the start of the year with our pupils on Monday.  This is a quick reminder regarding health issues and the Coronavirus outbreak.

ACS is working carefully to ensure that we do what needs to be done to keep all our pupils and staff safe and well. We are keeping up to date with the Ministry of Health guidelines and the Ministry of Education information.

Our advice to parents remains the same:
  • If you or your child are unwell - stay at home and seek medical advice.
  • If you have visited China or been in contact with a person who is confirmed as having the virus - we encourage you to delay your start by 14 days from when you arrive back in New Zealand.  The school will consider this a justified reason to start study later.
Our staff have up to date information and instructions on the virus and on teaching good health practices at school.

We will need parents to make good decisions about the health of their families.

Thank you for your ongoing concern and involvement.  Please free free to come and talk with me if you wish.
